Pastel is an exciting medium in which the artist applies the purest of all pigments to the painting surface and is able to feel an immediate and intense response to the color note. The color never changes because pastel does not dry as do other mediums. My pastels are painted primarily on Ampersand Pastelbord or Wallis paper, both archival surfaces. I use only the highest quality professional-grade pastels available. It is my hope that you enjoy my latest paintings done of the Arizona landscape.
